Supercars has released the full field of Additional Drivers for this morning’s practice session at the Truck Assist Winton SuperSprint.
All 25 cars which have been entered for this weekend’s Virgin Australia Supercars Championship event, including Brad Jones Racing wildcard Jack Smith, are eligible to take part.
Wildcards are allowed to run in the AD sessions, while all 24 full-time entries have an additional driver nominated.
Among the noteworthy entries are Dean Fiore and Alex Rullo in Kelly Racing Cars #3 and #78 respectively, which have not officially had Pirtek Enduro Cup co-drivers announced.
Similarly, BJR runs Tim Blanchard in #8 and Ash Walsh in #14, as was the case at Symmons Plains, while Dean Canto is set to cut laps in Macauley Jones’ Tim Blanchard Racing entry which is run by the Albury team.
Thomas Randle is back in the #5 Tickford Racing Mustang and Jonathon Webb in the #19 Tekno Autosports ZB Commodore.
Alexandre Premat has flown out from his United States base to get his first laps in a Mustang ahead of reprising his enduro role with Scott McLaughlin while Garry Rogers Motorsport will field its recently confirmed co-drivers of Chris Pither and Richard Muscat.
Matt Stone Racing is giving one of its Super2 drivers, 2018 Aussie Racing Cars series winner Joel Heinrich, his first seat time in a VASC session while Erebus Motorsport has opted to leave its enduro co-drivers out and put young guns Jordan Boys and Broc Feeney in its cars.
The half-four session starts at 0920 local time/AEST.
