The Australian Motor Sport Hall of Fame has landed a new presenting sponsor in the form of Famous Insurance Agency.
Speedcafe.com, which has been the presenting sponsor since the Hall of Fame’s inception in 2016, will continue on as media partner and online host of the presentation night.
That evening will again be held on the Friday of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix weekend, on March 15.
Famous Insurance Agency Managing Director, Andy Gibson is pleased to attach his firm’s name to the star-studded event.
“We see the Australian Motor Sport Hall of Fame as a very significant part of the motor sport calendar and we are very proud to lend our support to this event,” said Gibson.
“Each year, the Hall of Fame draws a large number of dedicated motor sport enthusiasts, as well as the existing and new inductees who come together to celebrate, and we are excited to be the official presenting sponsor of the Hall of Fame.”
Hall of Fame Chairman Garry Connelly added, “This is a perfect fit for this prestigious event.
“We are delighted that Andy and the entire team at Famous have come on board as Presenting Sponsor for this event and know they will be a very welcome addition to the Hall of Fame family.
“Famous are big supporters of Australian motor sport and we are very pleased they will be a major part of this very special night of nights in 2019.
“We thank Speedcafe.com for their major commitment in the founding years and are delighted they will be continuing as our media partners.”
The Australian Motor Sport Hall of Fame is an initiative of CAMS, with the support of Motorcycling Australia, Karting Australia, ANDRA and Speedway Australia.
