Porsche Cars Australia has joined Speedcafe.com as a Platinum Partner.
Porsche will enjoy all the benefits that come with Platinum Partnership status, but will also be working with the Speedcafe.com team on a unique mid-year program for Australian motorsport fans.
Speedcafe.com and Porsche will be combining to present an extensive and sometimes, exclusive, coverage in the lead up to the 2014 Le Mans 24-hour from June 14-15, which will be headed by Australia’s Mark Webber in a Porsche 919 Hybrid LMP1.
“We have enjoyed what Speedcafe.com has done for motorsport fans in Australia and around the world and we look forward to playing a more active role during the next 12 months as a Platinum Partner,” said Porsche Cars Australia’s Paul Ellis.
“Porsche is enthusiastically active in Australian motorsport through our Carrera Cup, GT3 Cup Challenge and other programs and that will be extended through Mark Webber’s involvement with Porsche’s return to Le Mans in June.
“We look forward to being proactive around that program, which is an exciting opportunity for Porsche Cars Australia and Porsche globally. We look forward to working with the Speedcafe.com team on some exciting initiatives.”
Speedcafe.com General Manager, Leisa Emberson, said that the partnership with Porsche was a significant milestone for the website on many fronts.
“Porsche is one of the world’s most iconic brands and we are delighted to have them as a Platinum Partner at Speecafe.com exclusively in the luxury and performance car segment,” said General Manager, Leisa Emberson.
“Having the opportunity to work with Porsche on their return to Le Mans is something unique for us and will provide an amazing insight for fans in Australia and around the world.
“We will continue to reinvest the support of our Platinum Partners into the site’s development with the endless goal of producing the best motorsport news source that remains free for the fans.
“In return, we simply ask that our readers support our Platinum Partners by considering their products and services whenever possible.”
