The Aussie Driver Search will expand to 10 events including Pukekohe and The Bend this year.
The schedule represents a first offshore visit for the ADS program before it culminates in a two-day finale at Wakefield Park in December.
As recently announced, one of the prizes on offer in 2018 is a drive in next year’s Dunlop Super2 Series.
“The response to our program has been overwhelming with thousands of aspiring drivers from around the world dying for the opportunity to make it in motorsport without the need of big budgets” said ADS founder Kyle Austin.
“We want to make the program as accessible as possible and are stoked to be able to spread our reach across more of Australia and into New Zealand in only our third year of operation.”
The Pro competition offers a $600,000 prize to run in Super2, after paying a $4,950 entry fee.
Entrants will drive a Supercar, race-spec V8 Ute, and Toyota 86 Racing Series car.
The Semi-Pro section will see aspirants in the V8 Ute, Toyota 86, and BMW 130i Australian Production Car, competing for a $150,000 budget at an entry fee of $2,950.
The GT section involves driving an Audi R8 GT3, and the Amateur Competition offers the chance to win a $50,000 budget after driving the 86 and a Nissan Pulsar race car.
In the Rookie Competition, entrants drive the V8 Ute with top three prizes awarded at each event from 30 drivers.
Applications open on February 4, for seven days.
