“They'd contacted me a few weeks ago. I considered it, and they'd got someone else, but they pulled out so now I'm in. I couldn't refuse!
“It's a good chance to blow the cobwebs out and just go and enjoy it. I haven't driven a car in a few months, and I didn't want to miss out on the big event.
“For Race Image, it's a chance to prove that they have good equipment. It's obviously not a brand-new car compared to the likes of Jonothan Webb, James Moffat and those guys, but I'm sure it will be enough to learn the track.

Fujitsu V8 Supercars will hit the track for the first time at 8.55am tomorrow morning for a 40 minute practice session.
