McLarens dominate wet Practice 2 in Korea

McLaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button have ended a wet opening day of practice for the Korean Grand Prix atop the time sheets.

Split by just 0.10s, the Woking entries ended Practice 2 a full 1.7s clear of the third fastest man Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing).

Like Practice 1, the afternoon session provided the teams with no dry running – the Korea International Circuit proving too sodden for slick tyres throughout the 90 minutes.

Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) and Mark Webber (Red Bull) were fourth and fifth fastest respectively, while Jaime Alguersuari (Toro Rosso), Felipe Massa (Ferrari), Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso) and Paul di Resta (Force India) rounded out the top 10.

The day was not without incident for Alguersuari and Rosberg, who collided when the German make a mistake at Turn 1 – sliding off the road and into the path of the Spaniard who was making his way out of pit exit.

A final 60 minute practice session will be held tomorrow before qualifying.

Drive all day with open pit lane access at Queensland Raceway: July 1st and 7th. Custom race cars only, low numbers, medical support, garages, and complete on-site facilities.
