The six rounds at which the Repco Supercars Championship will be broadcast live on the Seven Network have been confirmed.

The 2021 season launches with a Mount Panorama sprint event this coming weekend, which had already been confirmed to feature on the screens of Seven.

The James Warburton-led network struck an agreement to seize back the sport’s free-to-air rights in a new five-year broadcast deal, Supercars having been aligned with Network 10 the previous six seasons.

The arrangement involves six rounds all up on Seven, which has now been locked in as the Mount Panorama 500, Darwin Triple Crown, Townsville Super500, Sydney SuperNight, Bathurst 1000 and the Gold Coast season decider.

That means there will be a significant gap following this weekend to the next Seven event; Darwin taking place four months later on June 19-20.

From there, there’ll regularly be in the frame through marquee stops in the second half of the season.

Seven’s events will all be streamed live on 7plus, while other rounds will have delayed hour-long highlights packages available via their online platform.

Every round of the Supercars Championship will be extensively covered by subscription television provider Fox Sports and Kayo.

The Mount Panorama 500 will also be streamed on Kayo Freebies.

There is potential for a seventh free-to-air round in 2021, if Supercars joins the rescheduled Australian Grand Prix event in November. Network 10 owns the rights to that event, giving scope a brief reunion between Supercars and 10.
