Walkinshaw TWG Racing performed unscheduled changes on both cars following Friday’s action.
The team told Speedcafe the changes were made as a precautionary measure.
Mostert finished fifth in the Friday race, three places ahead of teammate Wood.
Engine reliability has proven a major bugbear during the first season for Toyota in the category.
Walkinshaw is still working through a fix for a recurring valvetrain issue with the 5.2-litre engines, targeting a solution by the Bathurst 1000.
Mostert had suffered a scare when his engine went off-song at the end of Friday qualifying, which turned out to be a malfunctioning cam position sensor.

Grove Racing Ford driver Matt Payne meanwhile complained of engine trouble during Friday’s race, noting that he’d felt a vibration.
Speedcafe understands that turned out to be a tailshaft problem, rather than any issue with his Coyote engine.
