Jack Daniel’s Racing co-owner Todd Kelly has set the pace in the second of four practice sessions on the opening day of the Falken Tasmania Challenge at Symmons Plains.
Kelly sat at the top of the times on a 51.77s lap before returning to the track with two of the 30 minutes remaining to lower the benchmark to 51.74s.
Practice 1 fast-man Paul Dumbrell also managed a 51.77s, while James Courtney, Michael Caruso and Tony D’Alberto rounded out the top five.
All 28 V8 Supercars drivers will take to the track at 1300 local time for Practice 3.
