AM Racing has signed Nick Sanchez to drive the team’s No. 25 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
The team announced the move on social media, confirming Sanchez as the driver for the No. 25 entry as they prepare for the upcoming season.
AM Racing described Sanchez as a “rising talent” joining the organization’s driver lineup.
This announcement follows a period of uncertainty throughout the organization that delayed offseason driver news.
In November, an acquisition involving AM Racing was announced. The transaction ultimately was not finalized, and the team later confirmed it would move forward independently while remaining committed to competition in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
In a statement released in January, AM Racing said they would build upon their existing foundation for the upcoming season, with driver and team announcements forthcoming- explaining why Sanchez was signed six days before the opening race of the season at Daytona.
Additional details regarding the length of Sanchez’s contract, sponsorship, and crew chief were not disclosed.
