Kyle Larson isn’t going anywhere.

The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion has signed a five-year contract extension with Hendrick Motorsports that will keep him with the organization through the 2031 season, the team confirmed.

Larson’s previous deal was set to expire after this season.

The extension promises continued stability for the No. 5 team, which has been one of the sport’s top-performing groups since Larson joined Hendrick in 2021.

In addition, crew chief Cliff Daniels has signed a multiyear agreement to remain with the organization.

Specific terms and years of Daniels’ deal were not disclosed.

Larson delivered a Cup Series championship in his first season with Hendrick Motorsports in 2021 and his second last season.

Larson is a yearly title threat, and often considerer the greatest driver in motorsports today.

The extension solidifies one of the most successful driver-crew chief pairings in the garage for the foreseeable future.
