NASCAR plans to attempt to break a Guinness World Record on Tuesday in Times Square, aiming for the title of the world’s loudest billboard as part of a refresh of its “Hell Yeah” brand campaign for 2026.

According to NASCAR, the billboard will feature a replica Next Gen engine that will be powered on in New York City during the attempt.

The activation is intended to kick off the brand refresh ahead of the 2026 season.

The record attempt will be conducted in partnership with Guinness World Records and is scheduled to take place in Times Square, one of the most prominent advertising locations in the world.

Images of the billboard show the phrase “Can we get a Hell Yeah” alongside NASCAR branding and promotion for the Daytona 500, which is scheduled for Feb. 15 on FOX.
