Prime Video will premiere a feature-length documentary on the 2026 Daytona 500 on March 5, shifting NASCAR’s “FULL SPEED” series to a new streaming home and revisiting one of the wildest finishes in recent memory.

“FULL SPEED: The DAYTONA 500” marks the first installment of the series on Prime Video after its first two seasons debuted on Netflix.

Seasons 1 and 2 are also now available on Prime Video.

The new film will stream in more than 240 countries and territories.

The documentary centers on Tyler Reddick’s breakthrough victory in NASCAR’s biggest race, a finish he described as “true Daytona madness.”

Reddick led only one lap in the 500—the final one—navigating his No. 45 Toyota through a chaotic, wreck-filled sprint to the checkered flag to secure his first Daytona 500 win.

The victory was also the first in the event for 23XI Racing, co-owned by Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin.

Shot with a cinematic approach, the film combines race footage with behind-the-scenes access in the days leading up to the season-opening event.

It follows four drivers—Kyle Busch, Connor Zilisch, Brad Keselowski and Noah Gragson—along with their teams and families as they prepare for what is widely considered the most pressure-packed race on the NASCAR calendar.

Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion, continues his pursuit of the Daytona 500, the only accolade missing on his HOF resume.

Keselowski balances driving duties with his role as team co-owner, along with an injury.

Zilisch enters Daytona as one of the sport’s rising young talents and Rookie of the Tear contender.

Gragson’s storyline reflects both the opportunity and volatility that define superspeedway racing.

The project is produced by NASCAR Studios and Words + Pictures. Tim Mullen and Jackie Decker serve as directors and producers.

Executive producers include Tim Clark, John Dahl, Tally Hair and Ben Kennedy of NASCAR Studios, along with Connor Schell, Aaron Cohen and Nick Eisenberg of Words + Pictures.

The release comes ahead of Prime Video’s second season of exclusive NASCAR Cup Series coverage, which begins May 24 at 6 p.m. ET with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The race is the first of five consecutive Cup events to stream on the platform.

For fans, the documentary offers a closer look at the unpredictability that defines the Daytona 500 and the final lap that turned Reddick’s patience into a career-defining moment.
