Tyler Reddick outlasted a crash-filled final stage and two overtime restarts Sunday to win the AutoTrader 400 at EchoPark Speedway.
Reddick became just the sixth driver in NASCAR Cup Series history to win the first two races of a season.
Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota sustained heavy right-front damage in a Lap 224 crash that also involved Denny Hamlin, Alex Bowman and Chris Buescher, but the 23XI Racing driver remained in contention.
A multi-car accident on Lap 256 brought out a red flag and set up overtime, and a second caution during the first extra attempt forced a final two-lap sprint to the finish.
Reddick capitalized, pulling clear on the final restart to secure his first victory at EchoPark Speedway, and his second straight to open 2026 after going winless last season.
“That’s crazy. This place over the years puts on some amazing racing,” Reddick said. “We were back there in 30 when we got collected with the No. 11, and I just found a way to get back into the top five.”
Chase Briscoe finished second, followed by Ross Chastain.
Carson Hocevar and Daniel Suarez rounded out the top five.
The race, run in cold and windy conditions, featured multiple incidents throughout the afternoon.
Kyle Busch spun and hit the wall on Lap 125 after contact from Noah Gragson, and a crash in Turn 3 on Lap 256 collected several contenders, including William Byron, Austin Cindric, Joey Logano and Hamlin.
Carson Hocevar triggered the caution that forced a second overtime attempt when he turned Christopher Bell entering Turn 1 on the first restart.
“I feel bad for Bubba obviously because he had an unbelievable day, but I’m so proud of Tyler,” 23XI Racing co-owner Michael Jordan said. “For us to win the first two races says a lot about our team.”
With the victory, Reddick joins a select group of drivers to open a Cup Series season with consecutive wins, continuing a strong start for 23XI Racing in 2026.
