After a mixed round of results in Darwin last month, players of the Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor are divided as to who will reign supreme at this weekend’s Sucrogen Townsville 400.
Statistics show Jamie Whincup is still predicted to finish atop the Townsville round rostrum, however the recent show of speed by Ford Performance Racing has Mark Winterbottom also highly placed among predictors.
Vaulted back into popularity are both Tekno Autosport cars of Jono Webb and Shane van Gisbergen after the pair secured the top two spots respectively, during the previous V8 Supercars round in Darwin.

The Sucrogen Townsville 400 is taking place this weekend and you have until midnight (AEST) tonight (Friday June 14) to finalise your team.
Track action kicks-off on today, with qualifying and racing to be held on Saturday and Sunday including a Top-10 Shootout tomorrow.
All 28 cars will run on both the hard and soft compound Dunlop tyre with both compounds required to be used during both 200km races over the weekend.
