Ride onboard with Jack Perkins as he resets the qualifying lap record for Sports Sedans at Phillip Island.
Driving John Gourlay’s 740bhp Audi-Chev, Perkins lapped the Victorian venue in 1:26.6s with a top speed of 295km/h.
The time is 3.8s seconds quicker than Scott McLaughlin’s Supercars practice record set earlier this year.
Perkins went on to score all three wins at Phillip Island, hitting 299km/h as he lowered the race lap record to 1:27.3s.
