Tomorrow, the Armor All Gold Coast 600 will kick into life for three days of V8 Supercars track action.
Today, V8 teams were preparing its race cars for the unique twin 300km races, complete with international co-drivers pairing up in each car’s regular steerers.
Some teams also took the opportunity to use the day for media stunts. Six United Kingdom drivers launched a special tribute to Dan Wheldon, while IRWIN Racing took a light-hearted approach to the day, teaching its German driver Marc Lieb how to play cricket.
Speedcafe.com’s Grant Rowley was in pit lane this morning to see some of the set-up and activities.
