V8 Supercars has revealed its viral video of Jamie Whincup and TeamVodafone ripping through the streets of Brisbane.
The stunt was pulled off yesterday in front of a huge lunchtime Brisbane audience, promoting next weekend’s Armor All Gold Coast 600 at the famous Surfers Paradise street track.
Whincup drove the car through the streets before handing over to his endurance co-driver Andrew Thompson. Due to an electrical problem at Bathurst last weekend, the pair finished 21st.
Whincup will team up with Sebastien Bourdais in this weekend’s international-flavoured Armor All Gold Coast 600.
