Luke Youlden has secured a seat in the penultimate round of the Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series at Sandown.
Youlden will drive for the two-car Miles Racing team in the #10 Simpro Falcon, replacing Chaz Mostert who has taken up a new drive at Ford Performance Racing. Ash Walsh will continue to drive the second Miles Racing entry.
Youlden joins Mostert and Cameron Waters as new entries in next weekend’s Fujitsu Series round.

Youlden will drive a Falcon FG, complete with recent upgrades from chassis builder Triple Eight Race Engineering.
Due to work commitments, the deal is for the Sandown round only.
Youlden says that he is confident the car will be competitive amongst the big 27 car field.
“I think the car will be more than OK. It has been back to Triple Eight and had a birthday, so I’m pretty confident of a good showing,” Youlden told Speedcafe.com.
“You can’t expect to just jump into this series and think you’re going to blow them away. It will be the first time I’ve driven the car, and it will be different to what I’m used to, but I there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be aiming for a top five finish.”
Youlden says that Miles Racing engineer Bruce Price helped him secure the one-off ride.
“This drive reunites me with Bruce. We have an exceptional relationship from my days with the Ellery team and NZV8s,” he said.
“He is basically the reason why I’m there. I trust his judgement on the car. We’ll have to wait how we go, but having Bruce there is a great bonus.”
The Fujitsu V8 Series supports the Norton 360 Sandown Challenge, to be held next weekend.
