Reigning Formula 1 world champions Mercedes has released images of its W07 Hybrid ahead of its official unveiling at Barcelona on Monday.
After two dominant seasons the Brackley squad is eyeing a hat-trick of constructor and driver titles with its revised W07.
The W07, which features a slightly altered silver livery, made its track debut at Silverstone on Friday with drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg clocking almost 100km between them.
While there are limited visible changes compared to the W06, Mercedes says it has addressed the weaknesses of last year’s championship winning car through a series of “mini revolutions”.
“After a highly successful season all round in 2015, our priority has been to identify the areas in which we were weakest and to try to improve on those,” said technical executive director Paddy Lowe.
“Our objective is excellence in all areas and, while we had some fantastic results last year, there are many areas in which we can still be much better.

“We are seeking optimisation absolutely everywhere.
“It’s difficult to have a complete revolution when the rules have stayed pretty much the same year on year.
“But we aim to make minor revolutions wherever we can – even within a small context.
“We may look at a completely new packaging solution or suspension concept, for instance.
“So, while the car may look very similar to its predecessor from the outside – as is inherent within stable regulations – underneath there are quite a lot of mini revolutions that make up an overall evolution for the new season.”
Hamilton is expected to jump behind the wheel of the W07 on the opening day of the first pre-season test at Barcelona on Monday.
