Australia's newest all-female motorsport team is aiming to conquer V8 Supercars.
The La Femme Academy of Motorsport has been established to for young women aged to compete one and off the race track. CLICK HERE for Speedcafe.com's breaking story from Bathurst.
The academy will start with former Formula 3 and production car driver Lauren Gray in the Aussie Racing Cars Series next year, but team principal Kosi Kalaitzidis has his sights set on a V8 Supercars future for his team and/or its drivers.
“I think within our five year plan, I'd like to have someone in V8 Supercars,” he said.
“Within three years, if we have a shining star, we'll have someone in a Fujitsu Series car.”
