The iconic colours of convenience store 7-Eleven will adorn Nick Percat’s Brad Jones Racing entry at the WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint.

The Albury operation has revealed the new livery on the eve of the fourth round of the Supercars Championship at the Victorian circuit.

Percat’s #8 ZB Commodore has once again been operating a rolling sponsorship model this season with the famous white, green, red and orange colours of 7-Eleven replacing the bright yellow Dunlop livery that ran at Symmons Plains last week.

Percat says the livery rekindles previous 7-Eleven liveries utilised by Tony Kanaan in IndyCar and Kyle Petty in NASCAR.    

“It’s fantastic to have the support of 7-Eleven for the Phillip Island SuperSprint,” he said.

“The colours are iconic and for me brings back memories of Tony Kanaan in IndyCar and Kyle Petty in NASCAR, and now to introduce those iconic colours onto the 7-Eleven Supercar is awesome.”

Percat heads to Phillip Island off the back of top 10 finishes in each of the last four races.

The South Australian was hit by front splitter dramas at Phillip Island last year. 

“I’m looking forward to getting back to Phillip Island this weekend, I feel like we left there last year with some unfinished business,” he added. 

“Our car has been coming on strong in recent events, our speed is improving and as we showed in Tasmania, we can charge when we need to.”

The WD-40 Phillip Island is set to begin on Friday with opening practice scheduled for 1135 local time/AEST.
