Chris Atkinson has inked a deal with Skoda Australia to become one of the company’s brand ambassadors.
Atkinson competes in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship with Team MRF, a privately entered team, campaigning Skoda Fabia S2000s. The Queenslander currently leads the championship after two stage wins this season in New Zealand and Australia as well as second places in New Caledonia and Malaysia.
Atkinson, who will compete in the World Rally Championship in a Citroen at Rally Finland this weekend, says that Skoda is a great brand to partner with.
“Their product range is at ease in both the racing world as well as my personal garage.”
Chris has chosen a Skoda Octavia RS on a day-to-day basis.
Skoda Australia director Matthew Wiesner is looking forward to a successful partnership.
“Chris Atkinson has proven himself as a young Australian racing talent in recent years and certainly is one to watch over the next few years,” he said.
