At the December 2023 committee meeting of the Supersports Race Car Club of Australia which took place this evening, the Godfather of Supersports racing in New South Wales, George Davis, formally nominated Darren Barlow, who has been the President of the Supersports Race Car Club of Australia for countless years, as well as having been a leading competitor in Supersports racing throughout that time, for a Life Membership of the Supersports Race Car Club of Australia, for his leading role in keeping Supersports racing at the top of all the categories in New South Wales Motor Racing Championship.
The committee of the Supersports Race Car Club of Australia carried George’s nomination unanimously.
