A mid-November date has been set for this year’s Challenge Bathurst.
The sixth running of the event will take place on November 11-16, two weekends prior to the Bathurst International.
As has become customary, the SuperSprint component will be held on the Thursday and Friday, before regularity on the Saturday and Sunday, then the Fastrack V8 Experience on the Monday and Tuesday.
SuperSprint will be comprised of eight, 20-minute sessions for up to 120 entrants, although the dedicated GT group gets three, one-hour sessions plus another 40-minute hit-out on the Friday afternoon.
Regularity has a capacity of 275 entrants who will enjoy six, 20-minute sessions, with the Z Car Club of Queensland and Porsche Club of NSW to enjoy their own running within that segment of the event.
With Challenge Bathurst falling a short time before the Bathurst International, circuit management is working with promoters on a plan to potentially allow cars and equipment to remain onsite at Mount Panorama for those partaking in both events.

Entries open in July, with previous competitors given first right of refusal following the 2019 sell-out and a health 339-car field last year despite the late lifting of border restrictions.
