Round 3 of the Auto One Yokohama V8 Utes Series saw plenty of action at Hidden Valley Raceway today, with qualifying and two races.
Australian Industrial Supplies driver David Sieders kicked off his day claiming the Armor All Pole Award before winning Race 1.
While Sieders finished down in 17th in the reverse grid race, his results were good enough to move him onto the lead of the championship – by just one point over Chris Pither.
In Race 1, Sieders led home Grant Johnson, Chris Pither, Kim Jane and Cameron McConville.
Jack Elsegood took victory in Race 2 ahead of Charlie O'Brien, Kim Jane, Ryan Hansford and Ryal Harris.
There will be two V8 Utes races tomorrow.
