Supercars has commissioned drone operators to capture footage of the test ahead of the new season.
However there was a brief moment of drama when the drone lost signal and crashed on the infield.
That prompted a brief stoppage so the drone could be retrieved by its operators.
The QR test features four main game Supercars teams, with Triple Eight, Dick Johnson Racing, Matt Stone Racing and PremiAir Racing all in action.
