Entries for the special event, which will mark 50 years of the category in Australia, opened on Tuesday morning (August 28).
As at noon today (Friday August 31), the grid was already at 44 cars, representing 80 percent of the 55-car grid capacity.
Officially, entries close on November 30.
“We've already had 44 entries out of a capacity of 55 cars and entries only opened on Tuesday morning,” Event Category Manager Rowan Harman told Speedcafe.com.
“If anyone's thinking of waiting then they probably should get in quick in case they miss out.”
