The series will once again feature six rounds but begins later than this year.

Round 1 at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is three weeks later than usual, moving from the last week of March to April 16-18.

The Bend Motorsport Park maintains its Round 2 slot on May 28-30, marking a move away from the start of the month.

The series will take a break before returning to Sydney Motorsport Park for Round 3, moving from mid-September to a new July 23-25 date.

Queensland Raceway, meanwhile, moves from its June slot to September 17-19 for Round 4.

As revealed by Speedcafe, Mount Panorama will return to the calendar on October 29-31 to host Round 5. That will also act as the final round of the Shannons SpeedSeries.

Round 6 is currently listed as “TBC” leaving the door open for a return to the Supercars Grand Final undercard at the Adelaide Street Circuit.

Mount Panorama’s return comes at the expense of Hidden Valley Raceway.

“We’re excited to unveil the provisional GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS calendar for 2027, featuring five outstanding venues and a highly anticipated return to Mount Panorama,” said SRO Motorsports Australia boss Ben McMellan.

“Bathurst is synonymous with Australian motorsport and having the category compete there as part of the newly confirmed Shannons SpeedSeries event is a major highlight for teams, drivers and fans.

“Starting the season at Phillip Island and visiting venues such as The Bend, Sydney Motorsport Park and Queensland Raceway ensures competitors will face a diverse range of circuits throughout the year.

“We continue to work through opportunities for the final round and look forward to confirming those details once they are finalised.

“The early release of the calendar is important for our teams, commercial partners and event stakeholders as they begin preparations for the 2027 season.

The first five rounds of the 2027 GT World Challenge Australia mirror the Shannons SpeedSeries calendar.
