Andrew Jones has secured major backing from Flexihire for his stint in the Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series for Townsville this weekend.
Jones will make his return to the series for the first time since he wrapped up the title by one point over Luke Youlden in 2004.

Jones has secured the deal to race at both Townsville and Queensland Raceway, and budget permitting, could do the remaining rounds of the series as well.
Other backers on the car include Sony, Yale, Mimaki, Yokohama and Townsville Collectables.
The striking black and yellow Commodore VE will compete with the #20.

Besides his duties in the Fujitsu Series, Jones will get more V8 laps in Jason Bright’s Team BOC Commodore in Friday morning’s co-driver practice sessions.
Jones will drive one of the Brad Jones Racing-prepared Commodores in the Phillip island and Bathurst endurance races, but which one won’t be decided until the health of Jason Richards is determined closer to the event.
Former full-time V8 driver Shane Price has been listed by the team as its reserve driver.
Jones is one of a number of endurance drivers getting laps at Townsville. Cameron McConville revealed a split scheme last week, while Dale Wood is also set to make a return to the class, replacing the injured David Wall.
