Chaz Mostert has revealed the look of the Ford Performance Racing Falcon that he will drive in the Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series at Sandown Raceway this weekend.
The 18-year-old will campaign this #56 with major backing from Mostert’s personal backer Factory Enterprises.
After driving for Miles Racing in the opening five rounds of this year’s Development Series, Mostert will drive with FPR in the final two rounds at Sandown and Homebush.
The car will be engineered by long-time FPR engineer Dave Patterson.
The number of the car comes from a combination of the team’s V8 Championship entries – Mark Winterbottom’s #5 Orrcon Steel car and Will Davison’s #6 Trading Post car.
Mostert has been working with the FPR team for the past two weeks, helping to prepare his Falcon FG. He also made the trip to Symmons Plains, Tasmania, last weekend to assist with the team’s racing program.

Currently seventh in the Development Series and the leading rookie driver, Mostert is hopeful of maintaining his strong series position.
“I just want the best results I can, and I also want to be the top rookie,” he told Speedcafe.com.
“I want to keep it up there in the points, and to finish in the top 10 in my first year would be a massive achievement for myself.”
