New CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 champion Nick Rowe will test a Brad Jones Racing Supercar in December.
Rowe clinched the championship during Race 1 of the final round of the season at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600, his first national title.
Brad Jones has invited the West Australian to conduct an evaluation day with the team as a reward for his triumph.
“It's been fantastic to see Nick come up as a champion,” said Jones in a video message played at the Formula 4 awards night.
“As part of that, with the relationship BJR have with CAMS, we've offered an opportunity for Nick to come along and do an evaluation day for us in December.
“Nick, I look forward to seeing you soon.”
The invitation came as a shock to Rowe, but one he was quick to embrace.
“My calendar's now clear, no matter what,” he exclaimed.
“To drive one of them is going to be awesome, I can't wait.”
The 19-year-old also opened up about his achievement, having not ever won a national car racing title before.
“I've waited this moment my whole life,” explained Rowe.
“I've come second about four or five times in Australian championships, and to finally win one…
“It's one of the greatest feelings I've ever had in my life. I was pretty emotional.”
