The four drivers who will make up the Porsche Michelin Junior Programme have been confirmed ahead of the season opening Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia series round this weekend.
Jaxon Evans, Jordan Love, Adam Garwood, and Cameron Hill will all receive support under the program, which was announced earlier this month.
The quartet will benefit from financial assistance throughout the season, coupled with tyres, training, mentorship and education.
“I can’t wait for the start of the season in Adelaide,” said Evans, who will once again race with McElrea Racing.
Evans is the most experienced of the drivers selected for the program, having competed in the series last year.
“Now entering my second Carrera Cup season, it’s great to head into this weekend as one of the inaugural Michelin Junior drivers.
“It’s a great programme for young aspiring drivers and it’s a privilege to be a part of it.”
Garwood, Love and Hill are all poised to make their Carrera Cup debuts this weekend.
Love, who won the 2017 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, continues with the program having been the sole representative last season.
Hill comes fresh from a stint in the Toyota 86 Racing Series, while Garwood is a race winner in Touring Car Masters.
The $300,000 program is yet to announce the three drivers will form the GT3 Cup Challenge Junior Team and contest the feeder series.
The opening round of the Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia takes place at the Adelaide 500 this weekend.
