Ford Performance Racing has confirmed that its senior engineer Campbell Little will take up a workshop role with Dick Johnson Racing.
“Placing Campbell at DJR makes sense for everyone involved,” FPR team principal Tim Edwards said in a statement.
“Not only is he an experienced V8 Supercars engineer, but he lives just a short drive from the DJR factory so the physical barrier between our team in Melbourne no longer exists.
“Campbell knows our program as well as any of our engineers so he will help DJR staff get the most out of our technical alliance which obviously benefits everyone involved.”
Little is one of the most decorated technical operators in the paddock, joining FPR in 2010 having proven a key player in the championship victories of Stone Brothers Racing and Triple Eight Race Engineering in the 2000s.
He was shifted from Mark Winterbottom’s car to Davison’s this year and is known to be on the shopping list of multiple Queensland-based squads for 2014.
