Racing on the shorter West circuit rather than the International was well received by most, although Friday Day 1’s wet weather did little in the way of preparation. In the constant SpeedSeries categories, James Moffat took the Trico Trans Am points, and Josh Buchan took Supercheap Auto TCR Australia honours despite not winning a race.
Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia continued with great racing where Will Brown and Brad Schumacher finished the round on top while Monochrome GT4 Australia overall went to Marcos Flack and Tom Hayman.
It was a wild round of Porche Michelin Sprint Challenge where Oscar Targett headed the round points as Grant Sherrin took out Meguiar’s Production Cars overall. Thomas Randle had the weekend off from Supercars and won all three Precision National Sports Sedan outings.
