V8 Supercars Hall of Famer Glenn Seton will return to the Touring Car Masters class at Bathurst, driving a Ford Falcon XY GT-HO.
Seton drove the Doug Westwood-owned car at Bathurst last year, where engine problems forced an early end to the two-time Australian Touring Car Champion's weekend.
The now 48-year-old Seton was a winner in the TCM at Bathurst in 2011, recording his first victory at Bathurst in any class aboard a Falcon XB hardtop.
“It's great to be getting back behind the wheel of a classic, and at Bathurst of all places,” said Seton of this year's campaign.
“This year, we'll be out to change that memory (of 2012) and while trying not to expect too much, there's confidence in the team once again so I'm really looking forward to being competitive at Mount Panorama.”
Practice for the TCM starts on Thursday with two sessions with the first of three seven lap races on the weekend scheduled for Friday ahead of the second and third heats on Saturday.
Jim Richards leads the TCM standings from Andrew Miedecke and John Bowe, who dropped from the top spot after being excluded from the recent Sandown event.
