Garry Rogers has declared both of his Volvos as potential race winners in the Pirtek Enduro Cup following confirmation of the team’s driver pairings.
As previously reported, the team’s Dunlop Series driver James Golding has been placed alongside James Moffat in the #34 S60.
Carrera Cup regular David Wall meanwhile links with Scott McLaughlin, whose previous co-driver Alex Premat made an off-season defection to Red Bull.
Both co-drivers had been signed earlier this year but, as is tradition, Rogers has waited until late in the piece in order to formalise the pairings.
“The race engineers and myself considered all relevant factors and have paired the two James’, Moffat and Golding and Scotty McLaughlin with David Wall,” said Rogers.
“I believe that our recent speed illustrates that we are finding some very good form as we enter the Endurance Cup.
“I am confident that both of these line-ups have the potential to win.”
McLaughlin scored a pair of top six finishes in Sydney at the weekend while a late penalty for contact with Shane van Gisbergen cost Moffat his first top five in Volvo colours.
