Huge Horsham Speedway season begins at Blue Ribbon Raceway this Saturday

Supporting the big events will be all the local heroes in the exciting Production Sedans and the crowd pleasing V8 Trucks with racing from 5:00pm.

Twenty-one Sprintcars have nominated for the ‘Mainline Dynolog Dynamometers’ All Star Sprintcars. In the ‘Tritech Lubricant’ supported Modified Sedan action Geelong’s Kye Walters leads the Victorian Modified Promotional Association state series after three rounds with Wangaratta member Shane Roycroft close behind in second place by just two points. Those two will lead the likes of Bendigo’s Lachlan Fitzpatrick, and local series hope Horsham’s Daniel Simpson into Blue Ribbon Raceway this weekend. Simpson at his home track and will be joined by other local drivers including Graham Gerlach, Steve Ellis and Horsham raised Matt Gerlach, all will be determined to send local fans home happy with a win more than anybody else in the field. Matt Gerlach is one to watch in the feature along with Simpson.

Horsham Motor Sports Club are grateful for the support of long-time club supporters and Modified Sedan associated supporter Horsham Auto Wreckers, who have helped contribute to ensuring this event is a success for the host club.
