Renowned Irish driver Frank Kelly is the first confirmed entry for December's Adelaide Rally.
Kelly has drawn worldwide fame for the spectacular style in which he drives his Mk2 Ford Escort, clocking up millions of views on YouTube.
The Adelaide Rally marks an evolution of Classic Adelaide, with the rally now open to Classic and Modern Cars complying with any of four different sets of CAMS regulations (Tarmac Modern, Tarmac Classic, Historic and Classic Gravel Rally, Group 3C Production Rally).
The change has already seen entries of WRC cars, Group B rally cars, current tarmac rally cars, hill climbers, and circuit sprint specials from a number of eras.
The event will take in 27 special stages across three days, including a quarter-mile sprint at the still under construction The Bend Motorsport Park.
It will be run in conjunction with the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, which takes place from December 7-10.
