Tim Macrow will again line up on the grid in the second season of the newly renamed China Endurance Series.
Macrow will drive for S&D Motorsports Malaysia, sharing an LMP3 with German Tim Zimmermann.
The Melbourne-based driver finished 11th in last year’s inaugural season, then known as the FRD LMP3, having contested three of the four rounds.
This year’s five-round season begins at the Shanghai International Circuit this weekend (April 28-29).
“I am looking forward to getting back to Shanghai as the circuit is fantastic, and with the drivers coming to race the championship, it looks like being a really exciting year,” said Macrow.
“Having Tim Zimmermann as a partner for this year means we can have a proper crack at the championship.
“(I’m) Really excited to be back with S&D, can’t wait to work with Harry (team owner) and Terry (chief engineer) and all the guys again.”
