Massive Excel field at The Bend dominated by one duo
The #333 with Ethan Grigg-Gault and Ria Campbell sharing, won ahead of the #21 that Aleeanz Voltz and Zane Rhodes drove.

The Tufflift Hoists Circuit Excel SA Enduro attracted 44 starters for the two races on Friday December 5.

An influx of Excel interstate racers joined the locals for the one and a half races along with TCR champion Josh Buchan, most recent Super 2 race winner Brad Vaughan, Porsche Sprint Challenge champion Jake Santalucia, and former Supercar driver and current instructor Dean Canto.

The first qualifying session was undertaken by Driver A and was headed by Ryan Phillips for his co-driver Jett Bennett to start the race. Zane Rhodes (with Aleeanz Voltz) was the early leader before Grigg-Gault took over on the third lap and led through to his pitstop at the end of Lap 16.

Campbell regained the lead nine laps later to finish ahead of Voltz and Phillips. Bailey Fridd and Vaughan finished fourth in front of William and Brendan Sala, and Jensen Teleskivi and Santalucia. Darcy Heyne and Aaron Oliver were next to finish before a post-race penalty cost them a spot which went to Will Twining and Campbell Frazer. Jackson Sullivan and Jack Wallis were ninth ahead of Canto and Magnus Poole.

Bennett qualified fastest for Phillips to start Race 2 from pole. He led the opening two laps before passed by Voltz. Within a few laps Rhodes had the lead and after an exchange with Grigg-Gault, trailed by five seconds in the end.

Phillips and  Bennett finished third and were followed by Heyne and Oliver, Aaron Semler with Buchan, Isaac Sparks/Tyler Collins, the Salas and Gavin Faulkner/Michael Smith. Shane Nowickyj and Jackson Faulkner would have been next, but penalties relegated them to 15th.
