The McLaren F1 team has revealed anniversary livery a day before the 2014 season blasts off at the Rolex Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
With McLaren previously announcing that it would run without a headline sponsor in the first few races of the season, it has unveiled special Mobil 1 livery for the season-opening GP at Albert Park.
The livery reflects the 20-year partnership between ExxonMobil with the association spanning more than 330 races.
McLaren’s chief operating officer Jonathan Neale said the Woking team has moved to acknowledge the commitment of the oil giant.
“During 332 races together we have achieved four world championships, 78 wins, 229 podium finishes and 76 pole positions,” Neale said.
It remains unclear when a title sponsor will be found for the MP4-29s of Jenson Button and rookie Kevin Magnussen.
