Gomersall (#32 Ford Mustang) led home Nash Morris (#67 Mustang) by 2.7s after a close battle in the opening laps.

Joel Heinrich (#16 Mustang) rounded out the top three for the second consecutive race, ahead of Alice Buckley (#150 Chevrolet Camaro) and Tommy Smith (#116 Camaro).

Morris led the field away at the start, getting the jump over Buckley when the green flag waved.

Gomersall got away to the best start of the lead group, sweeping around the outside into fourth at the first corner.

Tyler Cheney found himself spun on the exit of Turn 2, but recovered back through into the top 10.

In a throwback to the 2025 Aussie Racing Cars finale, Heinrich and Kody Garland battled side-by-side through the tricky middle sector, with Heinrich prevailing.

Buckley struggled for pace in the opening laps, relinquishing her place in the top three to Tommy Smith and Heinrich.

Gomersall raced through to the lead by Lap 4, swapping the top spot with Morris over the next two laps.

Smith and Heinrich came to blows in the closing laps, resulting in Smith pointing the wrong way at Turn 2.

Speedway veteran Robbie Farr (#7 Camaro) excelled in the tricky conditions to finish sixth, ahead of Cheney (#38 Camaro) after an impressive recovery drive.

Jackson Rice (#37 Camaro) came home in eighth, while Hayden Hume (#45 Mustang) recovered after damage in the opening race to finish ninth.

Garland (#41 Mustang) dropped through the field after a strong showing in the early laps to round out the top 10.

The TA2 Muscle Car Series returns on Saturday for qualifying at 11:10am AEST ahead of two final races.
