The multiple Sprint Challenge race winner and 2022 Carrera Cup graduate Suhle had stepped away from racing in recent years to focus on a real estate career in South East Queensland.
Suhle will drive the #5 entry for Tyler Greenbury Racing in his first start since the 2024 season finale.
Following a successful stint in Australian F4, Suhle stepped up into one-make Porsche racing with a win in his rookie campaign.
A further handful of wins across two covid-shortened seasons followed before a step up into Carrera Cup with Earl Bamber Motorsport.
After a tough rookie season, Suhle made the decision to step back from full-time racing in 2023.
Following James Lodge’s cameo from the previous round at The Bend, Suhle will be looking to mix with the front-running Pro entries.
Lodge does not return for Queensland Raceway despite three visits to the podium at The Bend.
TFH Racing’s Josh Thomas is also absent from the field having contested the opening two rounds with TekworkX Motorsport.
Thomas will instead be aboard a Ford Mustang in Monochrome GT4 Australia alongside Jarrod Keyte.
Nine of the 21 drivers call Queensland Raceway their home track, and it is the local circuit for four teams.
Sprint Challenge returns to a compressed, two-day format similar to what was used in 2025.
The series will practice, qualify, and race on Friday afternoon, with the remaining two races completed on Saturday.
Four different drivers have won races across the opening two rounds, with Xavier Avramides holding a slim, two point lead over Hunter Robb.
Kobi Williams sits in third place having claimed both Jim Richards Enduro Trophy races thus far.
Johor Motorsports Racing junior Hayden Haikal collected his first race win at The Bend and sits fourth in the standings, while Kamal Mrad is fifth, just 40 points behind the leader.
Anthony Gilbertson will look to add to his near-perfect tally at his local track, having claimed five of six race wins this season.
The lone Friday race will not be broadcast, while the two Saturday races can be seen live on Fox Sports and Kayo.
