Thierry Neuville will continue his association with the Hyundai World Rally Team after signing a two-year extension with the German-based operation.
The Belgian and co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul join the already re-signed Kiwi Hayden Paddon and Spaniard Dani Sordo in a three-car line-up.
Neuville, who claims to have had several options on the table, has performed solidly in recent starts in the WRC as his future was being decided.
Armed with two wins and nine podiums since debuting for Hyundai’s second-coming in the WRC in 2014, Neuville’s re-signing brings stability into the squad.
“I am delighted to extend my contract with Hyundai Motorsport for two more years,” Neuville said.
“Although I had alternative options available, it seemed the most logical decision to keep up the great momentum we have within this team.
“2017 will be a new era for the WRC with the revised regulations. We have shared very special moments together since the team’s debut in WRC.”
