Greg Murphy will debut the next evolution of Pepsi Max Crew car livery at the Sucrogen Townsville 400 in three weeks.
The paint scheme on the #11 Pepsi machine will be its third new for the season. In total, there will be five scheme changes. The next will come at Bathurst, where fans are being invited to ‘Skin it to win’ – a competition where members of the public can design the car, with the winner getting its scheme on the car.
The fifth and final Pepsi livery will be for the Sydney Telstra 500 at Homebush.
Speedcafe.com understands that the Townsville scheme will feature a similar striking ‘graffiti’ look to the past two schemes.
Team driver Greg Murphy said that he loves the way that Pepsi has pushed the livery boundaries in its first year.
“I think it is the best marketing campaign that we’ve ever seen in V8 Supercars,” Murphy told Speedcafe.com.

“The difference of opinion amongst the fans has been amazing. Every single race meeting I have people coming up saying “Oh, I don’t like this one” or “This one’s my favourite!”
“When we change it again for Townsville in three weeks, we’ll have a whole new opinions coming from all sorts of different areas stating their preference. What more can you ask for? I don’t think there has been a car livery that has been discussed as much as this one.”
The Sucrogen Townsville 400 will be held on July 8-10.
