The Triple Eight squad has commenced its public transformation as the new home for the Holden Racing Team moniker.
Switching to the fresh Red Bull Holden Racing Team logo on its Facebook page, the team is currently gearing up for a major launch of its new era on January 19.
The champion Brisbane-based squad will also be responsible for development of the Opel Insignia-based next generation Commodore which will hit the track in 2018.
The massive upheaval in Holden’s factory racing program jolted the Walkinshaw Racing operation which had operated under the Holden Racing Team banner since it was set up initially under the direction of Briton’s Win Percy in 1990.
