Just days after ending his long association as a team owner in V8 Supercars, Paul Morris is on the verge of announcing another key plank to his family's Performance Driving Centre on the Gold Coast.
Morris revealed a “V8 Supercar Experience” ride car at the Sydney 500 meeting which is carrying official V8 Supercars branding.
The experienced racer was behind the wheel of the Holden taking guests for hot laps which included V8 Supercars chief executive James Warburton.
It is believed that a formal announcement linking the Performance Driving Centre and V8 Supercars to Morris's latest business project could emerge today.
“Let's just say we have some pretty exciting stuff planned and I am looking forward to telling everyone about it when I can,” Morris told Speedcafe.com
“It is going to take a lot of things to a new level on and off the track.”
Morris hinted last week when interviewed about his V8 team ownership that the next phase of his involvement in the sport was already well under way.
Morris' Norwell complex is one of the leading facilities of its type in the country for driver training and venue for a V8 Supercar experience.
