With much left to play out in the 2016 V8 Supercars silly season, we want to know who you think is the most valuable driver available.

Title contender Fabian Coulthard is currently taking the lion’s share of the limelight as he assesses his options while continuing negotiations with Brad Jones Racing.

There however remains a host of experienced campaigners and potential future stars in the mix that are looking to lock down the next stage of their careers.

In a market that could still see up to a dozen seats change hands, the key drivers off contract include David Reynolds, Tim Slade, James Moffat, Jason Bright and Scott Pye.

Reynolds, Slade and Moffat are all in similar scenarios; each with a healthy mix of youth and experience, but have uncertain futures amid the commercial pressures faced by their respective teams.

The field’s oldest driver, former Bathurst winner Bright, is meanwhile facing the end of another one-year deal with BJR but has expressed an eagerness to continue for an 18th career V8 Supercars season.

Pye’s fate with DJR Team Penske is meanwhile unclear, with the team yet to indicate whether it will take up an option on his services.

Prodrive’s Dunlop Series star Cameron Waters also looms as a strong prospect and could be loaned to another team if the Ford squad is unable to find a seat within its own operation.

Elsewhere, Nick Percat is known to have been courted by other teams and could yet shake-up the silly season, but is among those not included in this poll as he has a two-year deal with Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport.
