Notably, Supercars will race across all three days with a 35-lapper on Friday in addition to the two 70-lap races on Saturday and Sunday.
In the Gen3 era, Chevrolet has conquered Darwin. Broc Feeney has been the man to beat the past three years in his Camaro, winning six of the last eight races there.
However, Triple Eight’s move to Ford and the squad’s subsequent success could be what the Blue Oval needs to grab the Triple Crown.
Feeney leads a Ford quintet in the championship, followed closely by Matthew Payne (Grove Racing), Brodie Kostecki (Dick Johnson Racing), Cameron Waters (Tickford Racing), and Kai Allen (Grove Racing).
You have to scroll down to eighth to find Triple Eight’s other star driver Will Brown. He remains winless this season with just a pair of second place finishes to his credit and is in the midst of a 26-race winless streak dating back to Queensland Raceway last year.
As for the Chevrolet contingent, Anton De Pasquale is the lone Camaro in the top 10, sitting sixth. The Team 18 driver has been there or thereabouts, but hasn’t been back on a Supercars podium since his Sydney Motorsport Park win.

Darwin is a happy hunting ground for Team 18 though. Mark Winterbottom won there in 2023. It was also the scene of their first podium in 2020 with Scott Pye.
Ryan Wood continues to lead the way for Toyota in seventh while his teammate Chaz Mostert sits precariously in 10th with Jack Le Brocq a quiet achiever in 11th for Matt Stone Racing as the second-best Chevrolet driver.
Hidden Valley Raceway is expected to test the Toyota Supra with its one-kilometre straight putting the 2UR-GSE in the spotlight.
From the 16 races to date, 12 of them have been won by Ford teams while Toyota has won three and Chevrolet just one.

How to win the Darwin Triple Crown
The Darwin Triple Crown has gone through various iterations to determine the winner.
For the longest time, the Triple Crown could only be won if a driver swept qualifying and the races.
From 2025, the rules were changed so that the driver who accumulated the most points was the Triple Crown winner.
Ironically, Broc Feeney won all three pole positions and was victorious in all three races in 2025.
